UNE 158301 – Home help

The UNE 158301 Standard on Home Help Service Management sets out the minimum requirements that must be met by the home help service (H.H.S.) to ensure that people receive a quality service.

The basic objective of the home help service is to promote the autonomy of the person assisted, and that of their family or cohabitation unit, so that they can remain at home for as long as possible, maintaining control over their own lives. To this end, personal or domestic care, or both, must be provided.

The Standard is applied in entities providing the Home Help Service, whether they are public or private, in the provision of the service and its quality management.
