Next GenerationEU eis a temporary recovery instrument endowed with more than 800 billion euros aimed at mitigating the damage caused by the pandemic and working towards a Europe that is more digital, greener, more resilient and better adapted to current and future challenges.

The Government of Spain, in response to the requirements established by the RRM, submitted its Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (RRTP) to the European Commission in April 2021 in order to access Next Generation EU funds. This Plan was approved by the European Commission and incorporates a series of guidelines based on 4 pillars and 10 lever policies, being deployed in 30 components.

EQA, aware of the challenges organisations face in demonstrating that their projects are aligned with the RRTP, provides this verification service.

Validation of alignment with the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan is defined with the objective of helping organisations to increase confidence that funds are directed to well-structured projects, and that they are aligned with the pillars and objectives of the RRTP.

Our service can extend throughout the project period, verifying annually that the planned activities have been implemented according to the defined criteria, as well as verifying the impact at the end of the project.

Independent verification provides transparency and credibility in the information reported and increases confidence that the project structure and the established monitoring and verification mechanisms allow the achievement of the project objectives.
