ISO 37000 Statement of Conformity Governance of Organisations

The ISO 37000 standard on Governance of organisations provides organisations and their governing bodies with the tools they need to exercise that governance properly, enabling them to perform effectively while behaving ethically and responsibly, all in accordance with generally accepted international practices.  

The standard clarifies the distinct yet integrated roles of governance bodies and management in an organisation and establishes common language, principles and practices that can be applied in all types of organisations. 

Although the ISO 37000 standard cannot be certified as a management system, the application of its guidelines by an organisation can be subject to external assessment.
